Cricket Nets Duel

How to Play

For the nets, backyards, driveways, hallways.

Setup

  • 2 or more players (batter, bowler, scorer).
  • Use 4 markers to divide the area into zones.
  • Each player gets a set number of balls (e.g. 30).

How a ball works

  • Bowler delivers, batter hits, scorer taps the zone where the ball went.
  • Choose soft or hard shot when asked.

Special zones

  • Green zone = double runs.
  • Red zone = danger zone (automatic out).

Extras

  • Out/Missed: If the batter is dismissed in real life or missed the ball tap this button.
  • Wide +1: Add 1 run, no ball lost.
  • Dead Ball Bonus: Batter keeps the ball on the pitch, it stops dead before touched by the bowler. Tap the DBB button. Next ball is a Free Hit.

Wickets

  • Danger zone = out.
  • Some shots have a chance of run out or catch.
Enter 2 or more names. Rotate roles in real life.
Default is 30 balls each.
